Creating a course from scratch takes time which you don't have readily available. At the same time you are interested in enhancing your course with more interactive learning for your students based upon trusted high quality learning materials.

Therefore we created "Ready to use Courses" in Grasple: courses based upon renowned openly published learning materials and courses, already used by many teachers and students to teacher and learn.

These courses and the platform complements you as a teacher, supporting a blended learning approach where teachers retain control over material, course setup, and lessons.

How to use a Ready to use Course?

The way to use a "Ready to use Course" is to create a new course and click the course you want to use. If you don't know how to create a new course, read more about how to do that here.

Within the Ready to use Course option, you can select one of the currently available ready to use courses.

Create the course and you will have your own course environment, ready to be used within your course.

Changing the structure of the course

One of the pillars of how Grasple is build is that you as a teacher are in control, while we try to make it easy. This means that these courses can be used without any changes since they are based upon well known (open) books and used my many teachers and students around the world.

However, we also know that every teacher has (minor) differences within they way they teacher and organise their courses. Therefore it is very easy in Grasple to adjust your course structure by:

  • Renaming/moving/deleting/adding modules

  • Moving/deleting/adding subjects within modules and between modules

  • Adding automatic self-tests within 3 clicks.
