You can now set an exam course or update it by yourself. From the Courses page in your admin panel, an organisation admin can mark a course as an exam course, record its exam window and expected size, and change any of it later — all directly in the platform.
Marking a course as an exam course
On the Courses page you'll find a new Type column. Every course shows a button reading either Regular or Exam.
To turn a regular course into an exam course, click the Regular button on its row. A modal opens where you tick "This is an exam course" and fill in the exam details.
To edit an existing exam course, click its Exam button — the same modal opens, pre-filled with what you entered before.
In the modal you provide:
Exam start date — the date and time the exam window opens (required)
Exam end date — the date and time the exam window closes (required)
Expected number of students — roughly how many students you expect (optional — you can register an exam course before you know the exact count, and fill it in later)
The Save button stays disabled until the details are valid, so you get immediate feedback: start and end are both required when the exam-course box is ticked, and the end can't be before the start.
Editing an exam course — at any time
You can change the exam window and the expected number of students whenever you need to — including after the exam has already started. If you need to fix a mistake or extend the window, just open the modal and save.
Filtering to just your exam courses
Use the "Exam courses only" toggle in the filter bar to narrow the list to your exam courses. Turning it on also reveals the Start, End, and Expected-students columns automatically, so everything relevant is in front of you. Turning the filter back off leaves the list showing all your courses again, and keeps your column choices as they were.
Undoing it
Made a course an exam course by mistake? Open the modal, untick "This is an exam course", and save. The course goes back to being a regular course straight away — no confirmation step needed.
